News - September 2009

In the past few weeks, another 3 UK Public Libraries have signed up to smartsm:-

• Norfolk Libraries
• Walsall Libraries
• Rochdale Libraries

We are delighted to welcome them on board and look forward to working closely with them going forward.

Lorna Payne, Assistant Head of Service - Development at Norfolk County Council Library and Information Service commented "We see smartsm as part of an ongoing improvement programme that has made the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library the busiest in the country, seen 23 libraries adopt self-service and gained us BIC e4libraries accreditation. The more we can use technology to work smarter and use stock intelligently, the better the choice for customers and the more staff time we can focus on helping them."
