EBSM^TM and smartsm^TM

Whilst the theory behind the EBSM framework is both proven and sound, the reality is that implementation can be daunting if approached from a manual point of view.

The sheer logistics of extracting, on a regular basis, large amounts of data and then using spreadsheets and graphs to analyse stock-use trends, is daunting in the extreme.

It is for this reason that George developed, in partnership with Bridgeall, an automated software solution which enables the whole of the EBSM methodology to be adopted easily and quickly.

smartsm^TM offers the complete range of EBSM tools that are outlined in the various EBSM papers and articles published by George over the years.

Delivered over the internet, and provided to clients with a small piece of 'adaptor' software to carry out regular data-set extraction and transformation, smartsm removes all of the problems associated with adopting EBSM because it automates all the necessary processes.

In addition to the core EBSM toolset, the powerful data processing capabilities of the smartsm solution has enabled the framework to be extended in ways that were simply not possible via manual EBSM, resulting in an extra Best Value solution that should be the cornerstone of all library service stock operations.
